Description

With its ground breaking design, the 3.0 liter twin turbocharged VR30DDTT engine found in the INFINITI Q50 and Q60 provides excellent luxury class power. Whether it is the 400 HP Red Sport model, or one of the 300 HP Luxe, Pure, etc., models, the VR30 engine is a powerhouse of an engine platform. With twin Garrett turbochargers and high pressure fuel system straight from the factory, INFINITI has left enthusiasts with a lot of power potential just waiting to be tapped into.

When we measured the stock horsepower output of our own 2017 Q60 Red Sport 400, we found it at a respectable 366 WHP and 350 lb-ft of torque on our Dynojet dynamometer. OEM vehicle manufacturer’s are handcuffed by power robbing factors they have no control over, which is where we at AMS come in. Through simple ECU recalibration, we have found a way to tap into the hidden horsepower and torque potential of your INFINITI Q50 or Q60! Our Red Alpha calibration takes full advantage of your INFINITI VR30’s untapped power by precisely adjusting camshaft timing, boost output, and air/fuel ratios, allowing your 3.0L twin turbo equipped Q50 or Q60 to produce over 400 wheel horsepower and a pavement shredding 460+ ft/lbs of torque with just the Red Alpha Tune! Be the INFINITI Q owner to beat. Be the Alpha.

Our software is protected by a hardware dongle. In order for it to operate correctly you first need to install the device driver by following these instructions:

Ecutek Dk2 Drivers Not Installed

  1. Remove the dongle from the PC. (This step is very important as failure to do this could result in it failing to be recognised by the software following the installation of the new device drivers).
  2. Login as a user with 'Administrator' privileges.
  3. Download the latest dongle device driver installation program.
  4. Install the new device drivers by unzipping the downloaded file then running dk2wn3264_7.47.0.73.exe.
  5. The install program will then ask where the DK2 [the security dongle] can be found. Make sure 'This Machine' is selected.
  6. Reboot the PC if prompted to do so.
  7. Attach the dongle to a spare USB port on the PC.
  8. If you get the 'Found New Hardware' wizard when you insert the dongle make sure that 'Install the software automatically' option is selected and press 'next'. This should correctly match the installed driver to the dongle.
